My Aquatica experience:
They never once made me feel like the boat would not be fixed. Ryan knows his stuff and Norman has stood by his word.
End result…..I love the boat. 2003 Monterey 268SC. It was not put into service until 2006 (I found the log book) and only had 162 hours on it. I think it sat unused for a few years and that is why the mechanical issues. It has an awesome aluminum trailer as well.
In the end, I feel I got a good boat at market price. The dealer, in this case, took the gamble for the mechanical repairs. Trailer brakes ($900), motor in and out plus parts ($1,200). Raw water pump and Ryan’s time to come to my dock ($???)
All in all, I am glad I purchased from Aquatica. I was looked after and never felt I would not be. Even with the cabin leak, if I can’t fix it, I feel confident, they will. I will wait until the busy season is over, as it is not a bad leak.
To the Aquatica Team I would give you an 8.5 out of 10 for my experience in buying a used boat from you.
